About the role

The Cardiologist is responsible for providing high-quality remote interpretation of echocardiograms and lab tests in an outpatient setting. They must communicate results to primary care providers and participate in quarterly quality improvement sessions.

Job Summary

  • The Cardiologist (PRN) is a dynamic and flexible individual who is licensed/board certified with experience in noninvasive cardiology and adult echocardiography. This professional will play a key role in providing accurate and high-quality interpretation of echocardiograms.
  • Duties/Responsibilities: Provides excellent cardiovascular care in a remote, outpatient setting Perform accurate interpretation of lab tests echocardiograms. Participates in quality improvement sessions for echocardiography (quarterly) Communicates results of echocardiograms if needed with primary care providers in a timely manner

  • Skills/Abilities: Exceptional communication skills to facilitate patient care including ability to foster and cultivate relationships with primary care physicians, center care team members, and staff Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular disease and evidence-based practices and procedures Well-versed in echocardiography guidelines, standards and practices as dictated by the American Society of Echocardiography Personable, tactful, and professional demeanor Comfortable with electronic medical record charting as well as teleconferencing including telehealth patient encounters Ability to work remotely full-time in a

Requirements

Candidates must be MD or DO board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Adult Echocardiography with an active medical license and DEA registration. Proficiency in EMR charting and the ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant remote environment are required.
