Group Life Counselor I On Call- Sea Mar Community Health Centers Sea Mar is seeking an on-call Group Life Counselor at Tacoma Adult Residential Treatment Center. This direct service position includes a combination of completing admission procedures, monitoring patient’s behavior, supervising patient and assisting with milieu management and group facilitation. An entry level person is expected to have a basic understanding of how to provide the direct services listed above. Key Responsibilities
Maintains professional standards and follows the treatment policies and procedures of the agency, as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations, especially WAC 388-877 requirements.
Attends regular staff meetings and in-service training for staff.
Completes all staff responsibilities as required, with emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
Supports the Chemical Dependency Professional/Trainee with the patient's individualized treatment plan as designed and implemented by the treatment team.
Monitors the clients, log all activities in the logbook, do laundry for youth clients, clean up, and be responsible for shift activities.
