The LPT/LVN provides nursing care to psychiatric patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to implement standards of care for patients with psychiatric and personality disorders.
Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum one (1) year in psychiatric setting preferred.
Licensed to practice from the State Board of Nursing (LPT/LVN License).

Requirement: CPR/AED certification must be current and a copy of your certification must be presented to Human Resources upon hire. You must successfully complete the Fremont Hospital’s non- violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures. You may be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
