About the role

The Home-Based Therapist provides direct mental health services including individual, family, and group therapy sessions in client homes. They are also responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, managing cases, and providing crisis intervention.

As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you’ll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

Home-Based Therapists provide mental health services directly in clients’ homes, offering a convenient and comfortable setting for therapy.

Home Based Therapists conduct individual, family, or group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, provide crisis intervention, and develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and diagnoses.

Additionally, they manage cases by coordinating services and resources, advocate for clients’ needs, and help build support systems.

Home-based therapists also maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with other professionals, and continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans to ensure effective care.

Primary Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited college in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related human service field Active and unrestricted LSW, LMFT-A, LMHC-A, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC license in the state of Indiana Valid driver’s license and the ability to use a private car to transport oneself and others in compliance with state policy concerning minimum car insurance coverage

The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a human service field and possess an active, unrestricted license (LSW, LMFT-A, LMHC-A, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) in Indiana. A valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for travel are also required.
