This location is a men's halfway house located in Altoona, Pa.
Shift
- 2nd (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) and 3rd (11:00 pm - 7:00 am)
- Pay: $15.00/hour plus shift differential Summary An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. Direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete the intake process with new clients into program
- Maintains client documentation
- Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable
- Coordination of client activities
- Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
- Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
- Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
- Assists with the dietary needs of clients
- Completes all required trainings
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities None
- Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid, preferred

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors.
- This position will require local travel.
- This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation.
- Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment.
- Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
