Collaborating with outpatient providers.
Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
Provide support to the team when needed.
Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
When needed, obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.
Education, Competencies and Credentials: Master's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required. PA provisional or associate licensed in the social services field (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC), full or independent licensure preferred. Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred. Current credentialing with managed care panels highly desired.
