This is a per-diem position with potential to become full-time.
Typical hours vary Monday-Friday 9am-6pm based on business needs.
This position will work in both the Lake Success, NY location as well as Bayshore, NY.
The Pediatric Echocardiographer's primary responsibility is performing cardiac ultrasound procedures on the pediatric population Primary Responsibilities: Performs Echocardiograms/Ultrasounds of the heart following standard procedures Obtain prior authorizations for studies Documents all readings, measurements, and technical information appropriately into the electronic medical record system Dispenses Echocardiogram reports to the assigned Physician for reading and interpretation Ensures the highest quality of patient care while performing the study, ensures ICAEL requirements and standards are met Performs Patient Education following standard procedures Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.
Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.

Graduate of an accredited and licensed school of Echocardiography Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certification or ARDMS Certification AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
Certified in Pediatric Echocardiography Experience with prior authorizations for studies Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Echocardiography with certification from RCS, RDCS, or ARDMS and hold an AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP certification. Certification in Pediatric Echocardiography and experience with prior authorizations are preferred.
