The individual in this role will provide high quality direct care services at the medical clinic by doing the following: Collecting vital signs (Weight, Height, Blood Pressure, Pulse, Temperature, Respirations), Blood draws/labs, urine drug screen collection, genetic testing and filling out requisition for submission to corresponding labs, collecting client lab results for provider to review then submitting/scanning labs to client electronic chart, maintain client Privacy and confidentiality, stocking and ordering supplies medical supplies for the medical unit, stocking lobby and medical staff areas with forms required for client care in the medical clinic, reviewing and completing provider orders, completing client photo for electronic chart, coordinate clinic flow for all medical providers and direct patient flow through the clinic, act as go between for medical and clerical staff and communicate to all staff to provide ease of clinic flow, screen and direct phone calls that have been forwarded from clerical staff, client phone calls for multiple reasons, monitoring telemedicine services during clinic hours, provide COVID screening as needed, assist with sanitizing and cleaning of medical services unit. Performs other duties and responsibilities, as required.
Vocational/Technical degree in medical assisting from an accredited college OR High school diploma or GED AND One year of related experience. Valid, unrestricted GA Driver’s License. Must be computer proficient.
