The Registered Nurse provides clinical oversight and nursing assessments for consumers in residential behavioral health programs. Key duties include coordinating care with healthcare providers, monitoring health status, and providing health education to consumers and staff.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, community health, residential services, or case management preferred. Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses, psychotropic medications, chronic disease management, and healthcare regulations.
Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and care coordination skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers. This role requires driving as an essential function. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be subject to post-offer verification of driving eligibility consistent with company insurance requirements.
