Maintains compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards for this section. Performs procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative techniques. Assumes responsibility for quality procedures and direct patient care for the final diagnostic procedure. Frequent contact with patients, family members, physicians and their office staff. Responsible for performing own job duties in the care of neonates, infants, adolescents, adult and geriatric age patients. Must demonstrate good communication skills, assertiveness, adaptability and guest relations. Works all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call and call-back.
