About the Job: As a Stress Technologist in our Non-Invasive Cardiology department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac stress testing procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation while working closely with physicians and other clinical staff. What You’ll Do: Perform all aspects of cardiac stress testing per hospital policy and physician orders. Maintain and clean equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Participate in departmental meetings, quality assurance, and improvement initiatives. Observe safety guidelines and infection control standards. Assist in training new staff and student interns. Maintain current clinical education and age-specific competencies. Recognize critical situations and initiate emergency procedures. Who You Are: High School diploma with basic dysrhythmia course, or completion of an approved CVT or RCP program. Current CPR certification. No experience required; however, 1+ year in stress testing or ECG is preferred. Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Familiarity with Philips/Epiphany EKG Systems and Quinton Stress Machines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to work under pressure, make independent decisions, and prioritize tasks. Physically able to lift 20–30 lbs, walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and hear equipment alarms.
