  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with no night or weekend requirements. This position offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote following the successful completion of department criteria. Duties include the provision of professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.

  • DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with nursing standards and as directed by provider. Prepare equipment and aid provider during treatment, examination and/or testing of the patient. Observe, record and report patient’s condition and reaction to medication and/or treatment to provider. Arrange for patient testing and admission. Act as a liaison between the patient and provider regarding complaints, concerns, etc. Instruct patient and family regarding medication, treatment instructions and patient education. Demonstrate the ability to respond to triage calls using nursing assessment to ensure patients with emergency situations are given priority, and documenting appropriately. Attend and participate in departmental huddles. Obtain work list from provider and follow up on labs, tests, reports, etc. Administer injections. Send prescription refills. Obtain prior authorizations for medications, testing, procedures, etc. Administer IV therapy and push IV medications. Perform related work as required.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Illinois State RN or LPN license and CPR certification. Professional nursing experience and evidence of annual continuing education are preferred.
