  • Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm | call rotation | holidays rotation How you'll make an impact in this role Prepare the surgical suite with sterile drapes, solutions, and the appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies to ensure a safe environment. Anticipate the surgeon's needs by efficiently handing over required instruments, medication, and supplies during the procedure. Safely assist in preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients to ensure comfort, dignity, and proper surgical access. Maintain instruments in a meticulous, organized manner while strictly monitoring and tracking component counts throughout the procedure to prevent retained objects. Maintain a vigilant focus on aseptic technique and situational awareness to maximize overall patient safety and operating room efficiency. What minimum qualifications you'll need

  • Certification /
  • Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
  • One or more of the following required: Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional requirements you'll need
