Market context

California respiratory care roles stay competitive

California allied-health employers often look for respiratory therapists because hospitals and acute-care settings need coverage across inpatient, emergency, and critical care units. These roles are competitive because employers usually want a CoARC-accredited graduate degree, a California Respiratory Care Practitioner license, RRT or CRT certification, and recent experience. Before applying, confirm your license and certification details match the posting; job requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description, saving you research time.

  • Your strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills will be essential in identifying and addressing any challenges that arise during the course of treatment.
  • Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be critical in ensuring the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Finally, your proficiency in electronic medical records and bilingualism in English and Spanish will be highly valued in this role.
  • Requirements

Candidates must hold a current state license as a Physical Therapist and have at least one year of experience in home health. Strong communication skills and proficiency in electronic medical records are required, with bilingualism in English and Spanish being highly valued.
