The Mother Baby unit at Riley Maternity Services at Methodist Hospital is a 28-bed unit for patients after delivery, both for the moms and babies. While the focus for our patient’s care is obstetric, we take care of the patients as holistically as possible including taking care of our patient’s complex medical, emotional, and social needs.
We are part of a level 4 perinatal center and provide top tier care to our patients during this time in their lives.
Our unit focuses on evidence-based care to ensure we are providing the best, most up to date care to our patients.
Because of this, we are proud to be a World Health Organization Baby Friendly designated hospital.
As a unit, we have a huge focus on “team” because just as it takes a village to raise a baby, it takes a great team to provide great care to our moms and babies!
An ideal candidate for the Mother/Baby unit would be someone who loves teamwork, loves to provide education and loves to spend time getting to know their patients and their individual needs.
