The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Inova Fairfax Medical is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to specialize in cardiovascular surgery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to train and support seven CVOR suites, providing care for both adult and pediatric cardiovascular procedures. Our program has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as “High Performing” in heart bypass surgery, aortic valve surgery, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Sign on Bonus & Relocation bonus is available for eligible candidates.
Full time; 3/13hr shifts or 4/10hr shifts available.
Must be available to take call and rotate weekends, holidays and off-shifts.
The CVOR is located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus within the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI) for adult cardiac surgery and Inova Women’s and Children’s Hospital for pediatric/congenital cardiac surgery. The CVORs are state of the art with Stryker integrated video and a Philips (Single Plane) Hybrid OR with a total of 7 operating rooms serving all cardiac surgery needs including thoracic organ transplant (heart and lung), mechanical circulatory support, structural heart, congenital, and advanced aortic surgery.
