About the role

The Patient Attendant is responsible for remaining at the bedside of assigned patients to ensure safety and provide support. Key duties include calming agitated patients, removing environmental hazards, and recording all observations.

  • Salary: $18.67 - $21.90 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member. Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion. Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate. Record all observations. What minimum qualifications you'll need
  • Licensure /
  • Certification /
  • Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention credentialed from the Crisis Prevention Institute(CPI) preferred.

Education

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
