We're looking for a dedicated Echo Technologist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll perform high-quality echocardiographic examinations while working alongside a supportive team committed to outstanding patient care. This position serves rural hospitals and clinics throughout the Northeast Iowa region, including Waukon, Guttenberg, Decorah, Iowa, and Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Perform echocardiograms and other related diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while providing clear explanations of the process. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret results and contribute to patient care decisions. Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography techniques and technologies.
Registered or Registry eligible as an Echo Technologist or equivalent qualification is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to echocardiography. Experience in diagnostic evaluation within a healthcare setting is essential. Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and understanding of vital signs interpretation. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is necessary. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. General/ Vascular ultrasound experience is a plus!
