Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to the company's patients. Attends to any unskilled personal care services that the consumer requires using the Rules and Regulations document provided by the Company. Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinics Provide assistance or stand by assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc. Perform housekeeping tasks as directed Make bed, change and launder linens Wash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shop Clean stove, kitchen, bathroom, and only the consumers living area and bedroom Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, run errands as needed, mop floors (make sure floor is dry before leaving) Advises staffing director of requests which cannot be met or of conditions which are unsafe Is dependable to consumers and Company in both providing and documenting services on time sheets Additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate
Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents. Requires personal transportation, valid state issued driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law. Some experience working with elderly and frail but will train. Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.
