  • Responsibilities
  • Including, but not limited to: Assist the Activities Director in enhancing and supporting the resident's intellectual, emotional and spiritual interests, talents, and hobbies with individual or group activities. Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility. Assist in developing and planning the monthly program calendar. Assist in developing a written plan of care for each resident's activity program. Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments. Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director. Assist in scheduling programs, planning parties and providing games/activities for residents. Encourage residents to participate in activities of daily living that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally socially and spiritually. All other duties as assigned. SKILLS High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare settings is a plus. Experience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia patients a plus. Experience in Long Term Care Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance Good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company proprietary information Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels Must possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job. Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a preference for experience in long-term care or working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional confidentiality.
