Job Overview Join a well-established private cardiology group with a track record of success. We are seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist to join our growing team. This position is weekdays only, no weekends or on call.
Perform vascular studies as ordered by physicians, in accordance with established practices and procedures. Perform imaging at benchmark standards. Communicate and prepare patient regarding study while considering the needs of the patient. Process preliminary study reports to be reviewed by reading physicians in an accurate and timely manner. Demonstrate exceptional care and compassion in all patient interactions.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications Graduate of a formal Vascular Technology program. Recent completion of accredited certification by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS). Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to perform quality and complete vascular studies using 2D, color and Doppler. Knowledge of EHR systems. Able to work independently and set priorities. Maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Finger dexterity to perform duties such as typing or writing. Ability to speak and hear. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
