Description Certified Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team. This vital role supports surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to procedure requirements
  • Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and supplies to ensure a sterile environment
  • Assist surgeons and surgical team members during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and safety measures are followed before and during surgery
  • Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and equipment usage
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of surgical supplies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from an accredited program
  • Proven experience as a scrub tech or surgical technologist in a hospital or surgical center
