  • SUMMARY: Functions as the RN Care Manager in the Operating Room sharing accountability with other Care Managers on all shifts to assist patient/families in achieving outcomes. Together with the health care team manages the continuity of care, negotiates, directs and provides patient care services. Additionally, facilitates patient movement through the perioperative experience. Under general direction of the surgeon, provides direct patient care as a first assistant during surgical intervention. REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE Requires current Michigan Nursing License Graduation from accredited nursing program BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years Successful completion of RNFA formal program and RNFA exam BLS Certification CNOR Certification preferred REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Three to five years of clinical experience in perioperative nursing including both circulating and scrubbing proficiency. Requirements

Requires a current Michigan Nursing License, completion of an RNFA formal program and exam, and BLS certification. Candidates need three to five years of clinical experience in perioperative nursing, including scrubbing and circulating proficiency.
