About the role

The HIM Technician coordinates and processes release of information requests according to state and federal laws. They are also responsible for analyzing medical records for accuracy and performing quality audits on charts.

Schedule

Full Time Weekdays. 8am-4:30pm.

Job Location Type

This is an onsite position.

Pay Range

$14.41-$17.79 per hour.

How you will contribute

A HIM Technician who excels in this role

Is responsible for coordinating and processing all release of information requests for all provider offices according to state and federal law.

Analyzes all records for completion and accuracy according to department and hospital policy and procedures for the next business day following discharge.

Performs quality audits on charts according to the Quality standards set forth by the department.

What we are looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must possess high level of computer knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Previous experience in medical records is preferred.

Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a high level of computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office. Previous experience in medical records is preferred.
