About the role

Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals while performing inventory control and maintaining pharmacy records. Provide excellent customer service and adapt to a fast-paced environment to ensure efficient patient care.

Work Schedule

Day/Evening Shifts.

Hours vary 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

Saturdays may be required on a rotational basis 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay

Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Evening and night shift differential
  • Weekend differential

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to

Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, and compliance; provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records.

Adapt to a changing environment, demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude to complete any work within the scope of the role.

Be a strong team player, highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience. Experience performing in a fast-paced and high volume environment preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
  • Work Experience
  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma and Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire. Experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of an accredited training program is preferred.
