Simpson is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic and seasoned leadership team. Duties and Responsibilities

The LPN will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in an assisted living or personal care setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of the AL/PC Administrator and will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, providing wound care, and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents. Essential Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. In accordance with Simpson’s medication administration policy. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds. Monitor and document changes in residents' health status and report any concerns to the AL/PC Administrator. Provide in-dwelling catheter care occasionally when needed. Provide wound-care occasionally when needed. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed. Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents. Document all care provided and maintain accurate resident records. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals. Adhere to all policies and procedures related to resident care and safety. Assist in creating, updating and maintain resident care plans as necessary Participate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with nursing practices through Relias on-line training as required under PA Regulations on an annual basis ALL SIMPSON EMPLOYEES Promote and supports the Mission, Values, and Vision of Simpson, Our Mission: Simpson builds communities and services for older adults to thrive. Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse training program. Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: Current Pennsylvania LPN License with no judgments or disciplinary action. CPR Certified First Aid Certified AED Certified (Preferred) Related Skills and Experience: 1 year experience working as an LPN in long term care. Experience in a memory care facility is preferred but not required. Must have knowledge of nursing practices and procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively with residents/patients, families, and healthcare providers. Must be able to work as a team member and follow directions. Must be able to handle stressful situations and respond appropriately. Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Pennsylvania LPN license and have at least one year of experience in long-term care. A high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited LPN training program are required.
