X-ray Technologist Melrose Park is seeking a PRN-Saturdays X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in general radiography and preferably trained in IV placement and contrast administration. This role supports a fast-paced clinical environment and requires strong patient care, communication, and technical imaging skills.
Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support) Maintain accurate patient documentation and records Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards
ARRT Registered (Radiography) or equivalent Illinois state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Graduate from accredited radiologic technology program CPR-BLS Certification Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment
IV placement and contrast administration (for CT/advanced imaging support), preferred (will train) Prior experience in outpatient imaging or hospital setting
