About the role

Operates general radiologic and CT scan imaging equipment to perform various procedures on pediatric inpatients and outpatients. Produces diagnostic quality images under the supervision of a physician.

Functions under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader and the Assistant Manager of Radiology. Operates general radiologic and CT Scan imaging equipment performing a variety of procedures on pediatric inpatients and outpatients, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for the sole purpose of producing diagnostic quality images under the supervision of a physician.

Requirements

Requires completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiologic Technology program and a current State of Connecticut Radiographer License. Must be ARRT certified and obtain CT board certification within one year of employment.
