Evaluates patients to maximize functional mobility and develops comprehensive treatment plans to promote independent function. Additionally, provides wellness services and supervises the clinical activities of PTAs and non-licensed staff.
Summary of Performance Expectations.
Evaluates patients referred for physical therapy to maximize functional mobility and promote return to independent level of function.
Develops, communicates, coordinates, implements, monitors and revises treatment plan with goal of maximizing patient’s capabilities.
Also provides prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion.
Supervises clinical activities of PTAs and non-licensed personnel.
Required Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Current NC license or licensure from a compact state. BCLS for healthcare providers or completion of BCLS from the American Heart Association within three months of employment date.
Preferred Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
Required No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
