At Logan Health Pulmonary, our team provides specialized care for patients with respiratory and lung conditions. We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our team and support high-quality patient care.

What You'll Be Doing Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.

Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.

Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.

Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.

Qualifications

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization. OR Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization. RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first.

Preferred Experience One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred. Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.
