About the role

The role focuses on early mobilization, safe discharge, and preventing functional decline in hospitalized patients. Primary duties include assessment, treatment planning, and directing patients in therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living.

Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978. We current seek an exceptional State Board Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Woodland Hospital, Woodland, CA.

The current need is for a California licensed Acute Occupational Therapist interested in a part-time position. This position is great for a new graduate as the strong and solid team are able to train!

Focus on early mobilization, safe discharge, and preventing further functional decline in hospitalized patients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions
  • Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait and functional training
  • Educate patient and family on proper care plans
  • Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided

Requirements

Candidates must be a State Board Licensed Occupational Therapist with a California license. The position is open to new graduates as training is provided by the team.
