  • If you have an outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, have dental knowledge and experience working as a Dental Assistant, we would love to meet you! Duties include but not limited to: Prepare patients for treatments, take records, impressions, or x-rays, select and set up instruments & equipment as needed, assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry to name a few. To be considered for this position you must be X-ray certified in the state of FL with hands on dental assisting experience. We are looking for a candidate to travel to our sister offices: Towncare Dental Associates of Homestead, Dental Center of Kendall & Miami Beach Dental Center. Mileage reimbursement included! Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities

Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation) X-Ray certification Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended High school diploma or equivalent Must be willing to travel (travel reimbursement included) Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law. Requirements

Candidates must be X-ray certified in Florida and have either a one-year certified dental assistant program completion or six months of on-the-job experience. A high school diploma and a willingness to travel between sister offices are required.
