Market context
In Texas, cardiovascular technology roles are often driven by hospital and cath lab staffing needs, especially in facilities supporting interventional and diagnostic cardiac care. These positions can be competitive because employers may prefer formal cardiovascular technology training plus prior healthcare or cath lab experience, even when the minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent with BLS certification.
