The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers. The RN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources, the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities. Applicants Must Have: Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse. Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire). A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course. BLS certification ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
Intermediate care unit providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of disease processes, with a primary focus on cardiac conditions. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical needs, particularly those affected by heart-related illnesses including but not limited to heart failure, arrhythmias, post cath lab intervention, and myocardial infarctions. Looking for highly motivated and engaged individuals who can adapt in any environment to provide high quality safe care to patients. 27 bed unit average daily census 18-24 patients. Nurse patient ratio 1:4 ratio.
Monitor patient status, including vital signs, ECGs, and other diagnostic data, and respond to changes in patient condition. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed. Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Ohio and a graduate of an accredited nursing school. BLS certification is required, with BSN and advanced certifications like ACLS preferred.
