Conducts intake and discharge assessments and provides individual and group counseling for clients with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans while maintaining detailed clinical records and coordinating care with medical staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Licensed alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters/Clinical Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW). Master’s degree in the behavioral sciences and two (2) years experience in counseling preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Connecticut driver's license may be required Qualifications
