The Advanced Practice Provider or APP [Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)] is a licensed medical provider who functions as part of a physician-led health care team that is multidimensional.
The APP manages the patients along with the attending physician.
They will autonomously order diagnostic and therapeutic measures that make sure the patient care is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered.
The APP will continually monitor and adjust the care of the patient.
A major role of the APP is to be the patient advocate in the medical system.
The APP will act as a liaison between the patient and all providers on the team.
The APP will coordinate the care of the patient when multiple physicians and providers are involved in the care of the patient.
The APP may provide other patient care through the execution of standing orders/protocols and/or routine patient care tasks which are delineated in the written agreement.
This position will be performing and assisting with perioperative and operative procedures.
The APP shall enhance the continuity of quality patient care; amplify communication between the physician, family members, and the health care team; and extend the capabilities of the medical care team.

Two (2) years’ experience as Advance Practice Provider or Board eligible graduate preferred Bachelor of Science degree required. Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program (for Physician Assistants).
Candidates must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a Bachelor of Science degree. Two years of experience as an APP is preferred, along with valid Pennsylvania state licensure.
