Certified Phlebotomist opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates for a Phlebotomist position.

The Phlebotomist must provide safe, effective, and competent phlebotomy procedure execution with compassion and respect for human dignity and rights.

Communicates effectively and coordinates work with other staff for maximum efficiency and quality of service.

Responsible for assisting with answering phones, processing samples and performing order entry duties.

Collects any additional patient information needed and ensures that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.

Provides coverage for all shifts needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, additional languages preferred. Proficient computer skills.

Preferred

Enrolled in a Phlebotomy program or Education equivalent to challenge the Phlebotomy Certification.

Licensures,

Certifications,

Registrations: Phlebotomy certificate by an approved professional association, such as ASCP, NCCT, or CPT-CCI. Or a Medical Assistant certificate with the National Health Career Association (NHA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).

Equivalent

Experience: One year experience as a Phlebotomist preferred. To be considered for Tiering a formal email request must be submitted to the Laboratory Director, Technical Supervisors and Human Resources including your supporting documentation. If approved status will change immediately and be reviewed at your next annual appraisal.

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week
