The Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing in to assist physicians during surgical cases and managing sterile processing tasks. This includes decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and maintaining inventory of surgical instrumentation.
Townsen Memorial Surgery Center- Spring is looking for a full-time Surgical Technologist, to join our team! SUMMARY: The Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing in and assisting the physician for all cases. After completion of each case, the surgical technologist will be on standby for sterile technician needs which includes the following aspects of sterile processing to include decontamination, preparation packaging sterilization and sterile storage while adhering to department policies and procedures.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and formal education in surgical technology with a current certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and adherence to annual health requirements are also required.
