Terros Health is hiring for a Licensed Associate Clinician for our Recovery Counseling Program working at the 23rd Ave Health Center in Phoenix, AZ Full-Time, Employed Monday - Friday Day Shift Outpatient Experience Working with Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders Preferred Behavioral Health Experience Preferred Full Benefits, Including 401K, and Generous PTO/PST (4+ weeks) AZ Licensure Reimbursed When Renewed as a TH Employee (According to Policy) $57,000 + for associate level therapists $70,000 + for independently licensed therapists

  • Include: Providing outpatient individual, group, and family supportive counseling to clients. Charts progress, maintains clinical records, and ensures implementation of treatment plans. Monitors and follows up on client needs, does re-assessments as required or as needed. Coordinates services as necessary working in collaboration with case managers, Med. Providers, and other clinic staff. This position requires providing in-home counseling sessions as indicated, although it is a small part of the overall counseling activities. Services are provided according to all licensure, state, and federal laws, and TERROS Policies and Procedures. May sign off on non-licensed staff’s work.

Position Summary

Behavioral health Experience is defined as work experience providing direct care to individuals whose condition is related to mental disorder, a personality disorder, substance abuse, or a significant psychological or behavioral response to an identifiable stressor. Employee will serve as a Clinician at Terros Health, Supervised by Clinical Manager or Regional Administrator. This position is responsible for providing outpatient counseling services which may include adults, children, adolescents, families, couples, and groups using the Triple Aim framework of “Better health for the population, better care for the individual and lower cost per capita”. Ensures the successful achievement of Terros Health vision, mission, program objective and compliance with a broad range of current federal and state health regulations and policies. Provision of services will occur in the office or other place of service. A. Essential Duties 1. Clinical Skills Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients, in-home or onsite as required by program/contract guidelines. 2. Participate in treatment planning with each individual and/or family to improve overall health. 3. Utilize appropriate evidence-based practices to meet the needs of the individual or family. 4. Ability to determine and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions. 5. Seeks supervision/consultation as appropriate. 6. Ability to self-reflect and maintain level of self-awareness. 7. Treatment plans provide clear translation of needs of individual and/or family and include achievable and measurable objectives. 8. Displays valued and respectful treatment of clients. 9. Adheres to confidentiality guidelines. 10. Complies with Terros Health policies and procedures appropriate to professional code of ethics. 11. Ability to maintain session structure, including starting and ending sessions/visits in a timely manner. 12. Projects a positive, professional image. 13. Successfully meets performance measures related to engagement, successful closures, and referrals to primary care. 14. Ensures clients are accessing primary care at least annually or as designated by the Primary Care physician 15. Reviews service deliveries to ensure health outcomes 16. Collaborates with all members of the treatment team keeping clients at the center of their care 17. Actively engages in coordination of client care 18. Administrative Responsibilities Documentation completed same day. 19. Progress notes reflect evidence-based treatment. 20. Completes intake paperwork and submits on day of service. 21. Completes documentation of discharge within 30 days of last scheduled service. 22. Is on time for sessions, groups, meetings. 23. Maintains license and/or obtains Arizona State Certification within one year of hire. 24. Completes timesheets and reimbursement requests in an accurate and timely manner. 25. Maintains 90% compliance with e-learning and other required training. 26. Completes other duties as assigned. 27. Maintain 62.5% production at all times. B. Other Duties 1. Other Duties as assigned. Integrated Healthcare – Actively supports the integrated healthcare model and is always striving to improve treating the whole patient.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree and Arizona licensure or the ability to obtain certification within one year. Experience in behavioral health and working with co-occurring disorders is preferred.
