Market context

Texas veterinary assistant roles stay competitive

In Texas, veterinary assistant roles in sports medicine and rehabilitation are typically driven by steady demand from clinics and specialty practices that need hands-on support for patient care and client communication. These jobs can be competitive because employers often prefer candidates with prior veterinary experience, an associate degree or LV technician license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. If you are applying, emphasize your animal handling, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, and review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time comparing the original posting.
