Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care Reviewing patient's history and charting Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing Documents area of existing restorations Use of X-ray Support the dentist with procedures as needed
Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license required Must follow AAP (American Academy of Periodontology) staging and grading for patient care Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach Current BLS/CPR certifications Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred, new grads are welcome!
