Perform and monitor diagnostic sleep testing following AASM guidelines, including patient hook-up and equipment interfacing. Responsibilities include scoring, troubleshooting, and conducting therapeutic interventions and patient education.
Registered Polysomnograpic Technologists are responsible for performing, monitoring diagnostic testing following AASM guidelines under the direction of the Medical Director, Polysomnography Coordinator, Supervisor, Manager, or Lead Technologist. This includes all aspects of sleep disorders test up to but not limited to, patient hook-up, equipment interfacing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and scoring. This includes Polysomnography, Polysomnography with therapeutic intervention, screening studies, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT or MWT), patient follow-up and education, for the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Requires an Associate's degree in polysomnography or a related science field and 2 years of experience in an AASM accredited Sleep Center. Must hold RPSGT or CPSGT certification and a current AHA BLS provider certification.
