How you’ll contribute
Performs direct patient care under the direction, delegation and supervision of a registered nurse while monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition appropriately.
Maintains positive professional relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and health care team.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
What we’re looking for
Applicants should be currently enrolled in nursing school and in their first or second semester of the program. Additional requirements include:
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
Required Skills: Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while taking appropriate action.
