The caregiver's duties encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring the resident's safety and well-being.
Personal
Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Mobility
Assistance: Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
Meal
Preparation: Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms.
Providing
Emotional
Support: Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement.
Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.
• Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs.
Answer resident calls for assistance timely.
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Maintain a safe work environment. Report safety concerns in the resident apartments to the supervisor.
Assists with the orientation of new residents and staff when assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
