HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Assists surgeon by passing sterile articles, retracting tissue, counting and handling of surgical specimens; remains alert to and safeguards against patient injury from electrical/mechanical hazards while guarding asepsis.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited surgical technician program, and a Certified Surgical Tech Certification. Two years of surgical technician experience is preferred.
