Schedule (days/hours)
Monday - Thursday 8-5
Assist the periodontist during periodontal procedures and surgeries Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records, as permitted by state regulations Educate patients on periodontal procedures and post-operative care Travel between assigned practice locations as needed Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient
Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state) Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
