About the role

Serve as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner providing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Responsibilities include mentoring nursing staff and participating in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient safety and clinical outcomes.

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a nurse Practitioner to join its highly skilled hospitalist program at UT Health Tyler, a 502-bedLevel 1 Trauma Center in East Texas.

Your Work: 7 on / 7 off schedule 12-hour shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM) Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff and other APPs Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, optimize clinical outcomes, and improve care delivery processes Utilize Epic EMR ***Hospitalist experience required Recruitment Package May Include: Base salary CME allowance Commencement bonus Medical debt Consultative services by Navigate Student Loans Relocation allowance Residency stipend Paid malpractice coverage Health benefits + Retirement plan Marketing + practice growth assistance About UT Health East Texas The UT Health East Texas system is comprised of nine hospitals, more than 90 physician clinics, over 500 employed providers, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two freestanding emergency centers, six urgent care clinics, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of more than 60 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma center care network, including a Level 1 trauma center.

Requirements

Candidates must have prior experience as a Hospitalist and proficiency with Epic EMR. A Nurse Practitioner qualification is required to join the hospitalist program.
