In Illinois, MRI technologist roles are typically driven by ongoing imaging needs in hospitals and outpatient settings, with PRN openings often used to cover variable patient volume and staffing gaps. This category is competitive because employers usually look for an associate degree or higher, R.T.(R) and/or MR certification, and may prefer CPR, IV therapy, and under 2 years of experience.
