Description

This on-site, contract position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a collaborative environment within the medical practice industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various psychiatric conditions. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in developing patient-centered treatment plans and ensuring the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as needed Provide therapy and counseling to patients and their families Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Participate in ongoing professional development and training Stay current on advancements in psychiatric treatments and medications

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of practice Experience in psychiatry as a resident or associate physician Strong understanding of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment modalities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Willingness to stay updated with continuing medical education

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 9a-5p

1:4 call rotation

Setting: Outpatient

Daily Volume: 10-16 patients

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
