The Respiratory Therapist assesses, plans, and implements respiratory care actions in collaboration with other caregivers. They perform all technical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures to maintain the flow of patient care.

The location is Mercy Chula Vista but you might float to Mercy San Diego.

The ideal candidate has a thirst for knowledge and is eager to grow within the Scripps Health family.
In collaboration with other caregivers, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates action for respiratory care.
Performs all technical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care.
Performs other core responsibilities to maintain the flow of patient care.
May provide additional patient care within their scope of practice as permitted by licensure, certificate or training.
Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties.
Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Participates in quality control, preventative maintenance and performance improvement activities.
Candidates must hold a current California RCP license and American Heart Association BLS certification. Proficiency in English and technical competence in department skills are required.
